Your package includes 15 beautifully edited digital images, with the option to add parent and sibling portraits at no extra cost. A $100 non-refundable deposit secures your booking. Newborn Sessions in Our Chilliwack Studio
The best time for newborn photos
The sweet spot is 5 to 15 days old, while babies are still curled, sleepy and easy to settle into those classic poses. We recommend booking during your second trimester, around 20 weeks, we deliberately limit how many sessions we take each month so there's flexibility whenever your baby decides to arrive. If your baby has already arrived, get in touch anyway; we'll always try to fit you in.
What to expect during your session
Three hours sounds like a lot, and that's exactly the point. It leaves room for feeding, settling, nappy changes and cuddles without anyone watching the clock. The studio is kept warm and quiet, and we handle every pose gently, never forcing a position your baby isn't comfortable in. You're welcome to sit back with a coffee while we work, and if your baby needs an hour to settle, that's simply part of the session.
Props, outfits and everything provided
Your session includes full access to our collection of wraps, bonnets, outfits, backdrops and props, there's nothing you need to buy or bring. Every setup is styled for you, and parent and sibling portraits are included at no extra cost, because the people holding your baby belong in the pictures too.
Families travel to our Sardis studio
Our studio is at 5548 Chinook Street in Sardis, park on Keith Wilson Road, where a sign on the door will direct you to the entrance. It's on one level, so there are no stairs with a car seat.
Families regularly make the drive to us from Abbotsford, Langley, Surrey, Burnaby, Vancouver and Hope. A purpose-built studio can't travel, the full prop collection, the controlled lighting, the warmth that keeps a newborn sleeping, so we've made the visit as easy as possible, and most parents tell us it was worth the trip.
