We know that planning a photo session for your little one can bring up a lot of questions. Here, you will find everything you need to know about our transparent pricing packages, how to prepare for your newborn or cake smash session, and details about our studio location in Chilliwack. We want your experience to be as relaxing and stress-free as possible, so we’ve covered all the details to help you get ready!
Newborn Sessions
What is included in the Newborn Session and what is the cost?
Our complete Newborn Package is $650. This comprehensive session is designed to be stress-free and includes:
Time - Up to 3 hours of studio time (plenty of time for feeding and soothing).
Photos - 15 professionally edited digital files of your choice.
Access - Full use of our studio props, wraps, and outfits, you don't need to bring a thing!
Family - Parent and sibling poses are included at no extra cost.
How do I prepare my baby for the session?
A little preparation helps us capture those sleepy, curled-up poses!
Bath Time - Please bathe your baby the morning of the session to keep them fresh and awake before you arrive.
Awake Time - Try to keep your baby awake as much as possible for the 3 hours leading up to your session.
Feeding - If you are a local momma driving from Chilliwack or Sardis, please give your baby an extra heavy feeding right before you leave home. If you are traveling from further away in the Fraser Valley, expect to feed your baby immediately upon arrival at the studio.
Clothing - Dress baby in a simple sleeper that zips or buttons up the front. Avoid anything that must be pulled over the head to prevent waking them when undressing.
What should I bring to the studio?
We have a fully stocked studio, but please bring these essentials:
Lots of diapers and wipes.
Extra milk or formula if you are bottle-feeding.
A pacifier (even if you rarely use one, it is a huge help for soothing during tricky poses).
Any special keepsakes you would like incorporated into the photos.
What should parents and siblings wear?
We want the focus to be on your connection with the baby.
Colors - We suggest neutral attire (white, cream, black, grey, navy, or earth tones).
Layers - The studio is kept very warm for the baby's comfort, so dress in layers you can remove.
Siblings - Neutral colors work best. We prefer bare feet for kids, so no need to worry about shoes!
How do you handle siblings during the session?
We always do the sibling and family poses first because toddlers have short attention spans. Once the family portion is done, we recommend an adult take older siblings out for a break. The beautiful Vedder Rotary Trail and several parks are just walking distance from our Sardis studio. We also have Netflix available to keep them entertained if they stay!
Cake Smash & Milestone
Do I need to provide the cake?
Yes. Due to potential food allergies, parents must provide the smash cake. We recommend a simple vanilla sponge cake with soft buttercream icing (avoid fondant!). If you need recommendations for local bakers in Chilliwack, just ask!
What is the cost and process for a Cake Smash session?
Our Cake Smash package is $595. It is a fun, 1-hour experience that includes:
The Setup - Custom decorations and props to match your chosen color scheme.
The Splash - A warm milk bath or bubble bath in our vintage tub after the cake (babies love this, and it cleans them up!).
Photos - 15 professionally edited digital files of your choice.
What is a Milestone/Sitter Session ?
This package is $350 and includes 5 digital files. It is designed for babies who are sitting up unassisted (usually 6-9 months). It is a shorter, 30-minute session with a single setup to capture their personality without the long soothing time required for newborns.
Booking & Timing
How far in advance should I book my newborn session?
We recommend booking your newborn session while you are still in your second trimester (around 20 weeks). We limit the number of sessions we take each month to ensure flexibility for arriving babies, so our calendar fills up quickly. Booking early guarantees your spot!
How do I secure my booking?
To reserve your date on our calendar, we require a $100 non-refundable deposit at the time of booking. This deposit goes toward your final package price.
Health & Safety
How do you ensure the studio is safe for my newborn?
The safety of your little one is our top priority. Our Sardis studio is professionally cleaned and sanitized before every single session. All props and blankets are washed with baby-safe, hypoallergenic detergents. We also hold the first aid certificate that covers CPR Level C/AED, airway, breathing, and circulation emergencies, and wound care.
What if someone is sick on the day of the session?
Please stay home! We have a strict sickness policy to protect the vulnerable newborns in our studio. If you or your child has a fever, cough, or contagious illness, please contact us to reschedule. There is no fee to reschedule due to illness.

To access the studio, please park on Keith Wilson Road. You will see a sign on the door directing you to the studio entrance.
Accessibility
The studio is located in the Sardis area, easily accessible for families coming from anywhere in the Fraser Valley and Lower Mainland.
What are your operating hours?
We are open every day from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
By Appointment Only
To ensure privacy and dedicated time for each family, we do not accept walk-ins. All sessions must be booked in advance.
Can I stop by to see the studio before booking?
Since we are often in the middle of capturing quiet newborn moments or messy cake smashes, the studio is open by appointment only. If you would like to chat or have questions before booking, please send us a message through our contact form, and we would be happy to set up a time to connect!
General Policies
How long does it take to get my photos back?
Our typical turnaround time is 1 to 2 weeks. All pictures are professionally edited and delivered in a private online gallery.
Do you offer Mini Sessions?
We consciously choose not to offer Mini Sessions. We believe in a relaxed, pressure-free environment. Mini sessions often limit studio time to an hour or less, which can be stressful for new parents and fussy babies. We want to avoid constraints to provide an enjoyable experience for your family.
Can I print the photos myself?
Absolutely. Your gallery comes with a print release, so you are free to print your photos at your preferred lab for personal use.
