Hello! Bonjour!
I'm Manuelle Belisle, the photographer behind Eternelle Photography. If you're expecting in Abbotsford, my newborn studio is about 25 minutes east on Highway 1, in Sardis. It's a warm, quiet space built entirely around babies, with a full collection of props, wraps and outfits. Sessions are unhurried and gentle, with plenty of time for feeding and settling, because those first two weeks only happen once.
Newborn Photographer for Abbotsford Families
Why Abbotsford families drive to the studio
I photograph in studio only, and for newborns that's deliberate.
My full collection of wraps, bonnets, outfits, backdrops and props lives here, it simply can't fit in a car. The studio is kept warm all day so your baby stays comfortable and sleepy, and the lighting is controlled, which matters through a grey
Fraser Valley winter when light at home is unpredictable. Every setup is built and tested before you arrive.
It also means you don't have to prepare your home, tidy up, or host anyone during the most tender week of your life. You arrive, hand me the baby, and sit down with a coffee.
Some families travel considerably further than Abbotsford to be here; from Burnaby, Vancouver, and even across the border from the United States.
The drive from Abbotsford
We're roughly 25 minutes from Abbotsford, east on Highway 1, taking the No. 3 Road exit. The studio is at 5548 Chinook Street in Sardis. Park on Keith Wilson Road, where a sign on the door will point you to the entrance. Everything is on one level, so there are no stairs to manage with a car seat.
Travelling with a days-old baby takes planning, so I build the time in. Feed just before you leave if you can, and don't worry if you arrive late, newborn sessions run three hours precisely so there's room for feeding, settling and cuddles. Nothing is rushed, and I never start the clock on an unsettled baby.
Testimonial
Manuelle was so incredible to work with. We had our newborn shoot at 12 days old and her ability to handle our baby and capture all the special moments was amazing. Will absolutely come back for a cake smash or our next baby!

Newborn Sessions with Abbotsford Families
Coming with older children
The studio sits about 500 metres from the Rotary Trail along the Vedder River, with parks nearby. I always photograph siblings first, since toddlers have short attention spans, then families often take them for a walk by the river while I finish with the baby. It turns a three-hour session into an easy morning out rather than something to sit through.
What's included
A newborn session is $650 and includes up to 3 hours of studio time, 15 professionally edited digital images, and full access to the props, wraps and outfits. Parent and sibling portraits are included at no extra cost. A $100 non-refundable deposit secures your date.
The best time to book
The sweet spot for newborn photos is 5 to 15 days old, while babies are still curled and sleepy. I recommend booking during your second trimester, around 20 weeks, I limit how many sessions I take each month so there's flexibility whenever your baby arrives. If your baby is already here, get in touch anyway; I'll always try to fit you in.
Cake smash and milestone sessions
Abbotsford families are just as welcome for cake smash sessions at your baby's first birthday and milestone sessions at 3, 6 or 9 months, same studio, same unhurried approach.
